Customer Service Consultant - Mortgages

Mortgage Servicing

You will be the first point of contact for all mortgage related enquiries. Taking incoming calls from customers, you will do your best to resolve all issues by using state-of-the-art computer systems, enabling you to see all correspondence related to the account as well as notes made by other staff. Any unresolved queries you will transfer to the relevant customer service centre. Another key part of the job is retaining existing mortgage holders by identifying those customers who may potentially leave and then transferring them to the Mortgage Options team and any people you feel may be interested in buying other financial products, transfer these warm leads to the Sales team.

Mortgage Progression

You will be the first point of contact for all mortgage related enquiries. Taking incoming calls from customers, solicitors and valuers, looking for an update on a mortgage application. The query could be anything from the customer wanting to know how the application is progressing and what stage it's at, to the solicitors arranging the deposit of funds. These are but a few of the general queries you could deal with on a daily basis making for a varied and exciting day.
