Adrian's Profile - Customer Service Professional

I’ve always worked in Call Centres before I moved to HBOS. I wanted the opportunity to learn and progress and there’s tonnes to learn in the financial industry. It’s also a 10-minute drive from home which is a real bonus!

I work shifts so each day, week and month varies. Generally I log onto all my systems and take a variety of calls during the day. I deal with the back office teams and managers and often write letters to customers. I also interact with the sales centre, so I feel like a real port of call for the business.

There are loads of opportunities to develop - my aim is to up-skill over a 6-9 month period to gain a position that will give me much more responsibility and an opportunity to work in the back office. I really want to achieve this and I know I’ll be supported along the way.

But I also know this hard work will be recognised – my efforts have already been recognised three times this year! And in terms of other benefits, we can purchase vouchers, and we have an annual bonus scheme paid in March which is based on our behaviours, targets and performance. The simplest way of putting it is this - I wouldn’t stay in a job for 2.5 years for no reason! What else can I say?
