enjoy all the benefits of being a HBOS credit card holder while enjoying your own fair share of rewards and recognition. After all, we believe in giving
credit where it’s due.
Credit Cards
Responsible for taking incoming calls from customers who hold a HBOS credit card, our friendly team quickly build a rapport with callers so that
dealing with enquiries is an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Their requests could vary from bill payments, setting up direct debits, to
increasing credit limits, to name a few, so there’s plenty of variety in the day.
Our Cardiff Call Centre deals solely with Card Services
Are you looking for a working day where you feel rewarded, where your views and opinions are welcomed, and where you can really make a difference?
Then HBOS at Cardiff Gate is for you. We are the main call centre for the HBOS Credit Card business, taking 35000 calls a week covering applications,
activating new cards and providing repayment and card protection insurance. We also have a successful Customer Retention Unit and Outbound team.
All areas have shift patterns to suit most people.
There are four teams here at Cardiff Gate:
Aqua
This is a credit card specifically designed for people who have experienced credit problems in the past. Here we have a dedicated team carrying
out activations and applications, balance transfers, card insurance sales and general service calls. This is a fast-paced environment and a team that
is growing all the time.
Inbound
This team take care of Credit Card Activation & Application, Balance Transfers and Card Insurance Sales. This function takes approximately 18,000 calls a week.
Outbound
Making outbound calls to existing customers to carry out Credit Card Activation & Application, Balance Transfers and Card Insurance Sales. This
sales team boasts a lively atmosphere and competitive team spirit.
Customer Retention
A specialist customer service team dedicated to saving credit card customers money by offering new rates and processing balance transfers.
