Pay (plus bonuses)
We pay everybody a good basic salary, and review pay ranges every year to make sure we stay competitive with other contact centres in the area. On top of that, you'll get the chance to earn bonuses for individual, team and company performance. So meet your targets and you'll be able to significantly increase your annual pay. You'll also have the chance to earn up to 5% rise in salary after 4 months dependant on your performance and you'll have an annual performance review with the opportunity to increase your basic salary earnings.
Incentives Schemes
We believe in recognising and rewarding achievement. Perform well, and you'll get opportunities to win all kinds of prizes, from weekends away to a five-star trip abroad. With "on the spot" prizes like champagne, chocolates, extra days holiday and store vouchers all up for grabs!
Shares
Our share schemes have proved incredibly popular with our staff. There are a variety of schemes available. For example:
- Sharesave – monthly savings scheme giving you the option to buy shares at a discounted price at the end of an agreed savings period.
- Sharekicker - An opportunity to use some or all of your bonus to buy shares and receive free extra shares. You can choose to buy shares with 12.5%, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of your bonus after income tax & NI is deducted. Alternatively you can buy shares using a specific monetary amount (£'s only).
- Sharebuy - gives you the chance to buy HBOS shares with your gross salary, with the flexibility of joining whenever you want and stop, start or change your investment at any time. Also, free from tax and NI after 5 years investment.
- Free Shares - A scheme whereby you are given free shares based on 5% of your salary. They are then placed in a trust where you can choose to sell them after a minimum of 3 years (subject to income tax and National Insurance (NI) reductions). However, if you waited a further two year you could sell them tax and NI free!
Money Purchase Pension
We have a money purchase pension scheme. You pay between 2% and 5% of your basic salary and we'll pay between 3% and 9%.
Life Assurance
We'll provide a lump sum of four times your salary to nominated beneficiaries.
Flex Benefits
With our Flex Benefits scheme, you get to choose from a long list of benefits so you end up with the overall package that's right for you. For example, you might choose to "spend" some of your salary on buying other benefits at competitive rates, such as childcare vouchers and private medical insurance. Or maybe you'd like to trade in some of your holidays for extra cash or even buy more holidays! You don't have to use the Flex scheme (some people like to keep their package just the way it is). But it is there if you need it
Discounts
As you might expect, we can give you great discounts on some of the products you'll be working with. These include personal loans, home insurance, car insurance and travel insurance. A concessionary mortgage scheme is also available.
